HANYANG Tomas Welfare Foundation

Welfare Services for Senior Citizens

We assist senior citizens experiencing financial difficulties while living in nursing homes by supporting related welfare institutions. In addition, we support low-income groups in Hwaseong’s eups, myeons, and dongs as well as senior citizens living alone and in need of social support.

Children’s Welfare Services

The Tomas Welfare Foundation pays for school lunches for poor children in elementary and middle schools. We also support child care facilities that are in danger of abandonment due to financial difficulties caused by sudden social changes, and support broken low-income and underprivileged families in Hwaseong, providing supplementary living allowances and essentials.

Welfare Services for the Handicapped

We provide welfare services to facilities for the physically handicapped and Hwaseong’s financially-strapped handicapped citizens.

Disaster Support

We provide basic supplies to vulnerable people after disasters.

Support for Children Overseas

Through close work with international support organizations, we provide emergency relief, medical care, and food to children in the third world at risk of starvation and whose nations have been torn apart by civil war.

Support for Children in North Korea

Working with North Korean support organizations, we provide food, educational tools, and child care supplies to children growing in poverty, malnutrition, and poor environments.
